What Your Account Contains
- Your identifier: email address, or Apple/Google ID depending on your sign-up method.
- Your preferences and settings: language, region, AI preferences.
- Your session data: technical information to maintain your connection.
That's all.
What Is Not Associated with Your Account
Your searches are not linked to your account. Your IP address isn’t either. Your browsing history on Qwant isn’t either. Your account is not used to build a profile.
Retention and Hosting
- Data hosted in Europe.
- Account automatically deleted after 13 months of inactivity.

IP Address and Technical Partners
Your IP address may be shared with technical partners for security reasons (fraud prevention), without being linked to your identity or your account. For details, please see our privacy policy at about.qwant.com.
