Click here to install the Internet Explorer add-on<\/a> that will allow you to set Qwant as your default.<\/p>\n\n\n\nClick on the settings icon in the upper right hand corner, in the shape of a cog, then select \u201cManage Add-ons\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then click on \u201cSearch for other toolbars and extensions\u201d and select the Qwant search engine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click \u201cAdd\u201d to set Qwant as your default search engine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click once again on the settings icon and then on \u201cManage Add-ons\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now all you need do is click on \u201cAdd-on Types\u201d and then \u201cSearch Providers\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, select Qwant and click on \u201cdefault\u201d to finalize your settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On desktop, set Qwant as your homepage on Internet Explorer 6 and later versions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n Click on the top-right preferences menu icon (it looks like a gear!), then select \u201cInternet Options\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the section \u201cStartup Page\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Type \u201chttps:\/\/www.qwant.com\/\u201d in the homepage field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click OK to save changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Qwant will open by default the next time you launch Internet Explorer.<\/p>\n\n\n\nInternet Explorer is an old browser which does not allow you to choose your search engine freely.
