1. Installing the Qwant Firefox extension
Use Qwant Junior as your children’s default search engine and keep their searches safe. Click here to make Qwant Junior your default search engine by installing the Firefox extension.
2. Setting Qwant Junior as your Firefox home page on your computer
Click on the menu icon in the upper right-hand corner, then select “Options”. A new window will open.
On the side menu, click on the “Home” button.
In the “New Windows and Tabs” section, select “Personalized Web Addresses…” and enter the address: “https://www.qwantjunior.com/”.
Qwant Junior will open by default the next time you start Firefox.
3. Qwant Junior as your default search engine on Firefox
You have two options:
Option 1: Click on the magnifying glass in the search bar located in the toolbar.
Right click on the Qwant Junior logo and select “Set as default search engine”.
Qwant Junior is now the default search engine for your browser.
Option 2: Click on the menu icon in the upper right-hand corner and select “Options”. A new window will open
On the side menu, click on the “Search” button. Open the drop-down menu in the “Default Search Engine” section and select Qwant Junior.
Qwant Junior is now the default search engine for your browser.
