Setting Qwant Junior as the home page on Chrome from a computer
The home page is the page of a website that appears when the browser starts or when a new tab is opened. To adopt Qwant Junior as your browser’s homepage, you can follow the instructions below.
Click on the menu icon in the upper right corner, and then select Settings. A new tab will open.
In the “At Startup” section, click on the blue “Open a specific page or set of pages” link.
Then enter “https://www.qwantjunior.com/” in the “Add a page” field.
Click “Add” to save your changes.
Qwant Junior will open by default the next time you launch Google Chrome!
Setting Qwant Junior as your default search engine on Chrome
If you wish to make Qwant Junior your default search engine and access it from the search bar or the URL bar, you can also do so as follows:
Go to https://www.qwantjunior.com/
Click on the menu icon in the upper right corner and select Settings. A new tab will open.
In the “Search Engine” section, click on “Manage Search Engines”. Click on the three dots at the end of the line where “qwantjunior.com” appears and choose “Use by Default”.
If Qwant Junior does not appear in the list, add it to the “Other search engines” list. Click on “Add”, a window will open:
- Type “Qwant Junior” in the “Search Engine” field
- “q” in the “Keyword” field
- https://www.qwantjunior.com/?q=%s” in the “URL” field
Qwant Junior will appear in the “Other Search Engines” section. Disable the current search engine. Click on the three dots at the end of the line where “qwantjunior.com” appears and choose “Use by default”.
Qwant Junior is now the default search engine for your browser.
